Westin R5 Modular Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Ram 2500- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Westin R5 modular nerf bars on our 2023 Ram 2500. So, these are gonna give you a nice, wide step, five inches wide to be exact, to help get up into your truck. With them being five inches wide, they're definitely a lot wider than most other ones out there. So, if you're looking for something that's gonna give you a good footprint, easy to step onto even with some larger boots or shoes, this is gonna be a great way to do it. With these particular bars, they go wheel to wheel, so they extend a little bit back from the cab and give us an extra step pad right here. more

Aries Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2012 GMC Sierra- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2012 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Aries Oval tube steps. These ones are polished stainless steel but they're also available in a black powder code, if you find you like that style a little bit better. But before we jump in and install, let's take a minute, check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. This set is going to kind of remind me of just your classic tube steps, you know, at least that's what I think of when I hear that word. They look decent and probably the first thing that I noticed is they're definitely gonna be functional, all right So they come out quite a ways, you know, they're not sticking way out to where they look funny or anything, but they're definitely gonna give you a good footing when you go to get in and outta the truck, which, with something like this, it's probably most important, right So you open up that door you got quite a bit of space there, you know, to get your foot on and get yourself a good grip while you're getting in and out of your truck. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the line of DeeZee NXt running boards. Now this is going to be something you're gonna wanna put in the vehicle fit guide here on etrailer.com, and that way you're getting the custom fit to your vehicle. And really it comes down to the fact that those brackets are going to be specifically for your vehicle to make it to a no drill installation, making the install quite a bit easier. Now adding running boards to your truck is kind of becoming a little bit more of a popular trend, as trucks overall have gotten a little bit taller and a little bit more ground clearance. And also we're seeing that there's a lot more quad cab and crew cab trucks, and it becomes the family hauler. So having two little ones myself, having a truck means that they're gonna have to really jump up to get in, and with the running boards it makes it a little bit easier for them to be able to get that step sure-footedly and get in the truck. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Aries RidgeStep Running Boards on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 limited. This is what the running boards are gonna look like when installed on our truck, and you can see right away, they have a nice clean design. They're not overly large yet. There's still a nice spot for your feet to rest on here when you step up into the truck, it's also covered with a nice wrinkle black powder coat finish which not only looks really nice, but it's also gonna hold up to scratches a little bit better than your typical gloss. You'll see that it has raised steel treads and that's gonna be great for when it's wet out or even if you have muddy feet, you're still gonna be able to get that traction. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Carr LD Custom Fit Polished Aluminum Side Steps for one pair. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1998 to 2010 Mazda B Series Trucks and the 1998 to 2012 Ford Ranger Trucks, and on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this'll work for your application. Now, these are nice rugged square-edge steps that'll let you get into and out of your vehicle with ease. This part will include everything shown here on the table, comes with the two steps, comes with the four zinc-plated steel mounting brackets, the four cast M-brackets, and all the mounting hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of instructions. Now, these are nice, wide, deep steps that'll extend about two inches further from the truck than any other steps, and they do use a nice aggressive diamond tread surface, let me just zoom in to show you up close to that, and that surface will provide a nice sure footing, and then the polished chrome-like finish on it compliments almost any application. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the Westin R5 Wheel-to-Wheel Nerf Bars. So these are what our nerf bars are gonna look like installed here. So a couple things to point out, number one, they are black, but they're also available in silver as well. So the actual body of our nerf bars, that's actually gonna be made of metal and it has a black powder coated finish, which is really gonna look really nice, and it's also gonna help protect these from rust and corrosion. If you've ever had nerf bars on your truck for an extended period of time, you know that they can sometimes be subjected to rust due to just where they are and depending on what sort of climate you look in, so having a nice durable powder coated finish on there is really gonna keep these things looking new for time to come. So the actual step pads themselves are made of plastic, but one of the advantages to that is that they're actually very easy to replace if they ever get too worn or something should happen and they do break, so that's not necessarily a negative as you may think that metal is better, the plastic still does a great job. more

Rampage Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2006 Jeep TJ- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Rampage Round Nerf Bars on a 2006 Wrangler. Now these are gonna be available in three different colors, we have the textured black which is a nice wrinkle black finish. We also have glossy black as well as a polished stainless version. Jeeps are fantastic for outdoor excursions, offroading and part of that really comes down to the ground clearance that they have as well as the approach angles. So with that comes a high ground clearance but also a high step into the vehicle. So for me, it's not too big of a problem to hop in without having to step up, but it is kind of awkward. more

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Westin PRO TRAXX Nerf Bars on our 2019 Ram 1500. Before I go into anything else, I just think that these look really really good on this Ram. I don't know if it's just maybe the color combo with this Ram, but it definitely does add to the looks of it. Westin Grate Step Nerf Bars Installation - 2021 Ford Bronco- Video
What's up everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, on our 2021 Ford Bronco, we're gonna be taking a look at the Westin Grate Step running boards. One thing that the Grate Steps really shine is the traction that you're gonna get. As you can see, it's not just a little plastic pad or anything, it's literally steel punched through, so this is gonna be great for kinda brushing your shoes on here before you get inside to get all the mud off, the snow. And even in those slipperier situations, there's no way you're not gonna have enough traction. This is pretty much the most traction you're gonna get out of all the different running boards. more

Today on our 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, we're going to be taking a look at the Westin Protraxx Nerf bars. One thing I like about these is the oval shape. Some of the round Nerf bars I just don't like the looks of them. It doesn't really fill up this whole entire area. And even with the smaller steps, meaning the four inch wide steps, it does kind of cover all this up. So it seems full. more
